THE LORD TAKES HIS TIME                                    

God has not set a time for when He intervenes, 
In our lives, He moves in ways unseen. 
One way today, another tomorrow, 
In every joy and in every sorrow.

The Lord chooses His way, gentle and kind, 
Entering our lives with His purpose in mind. 
Often He moves slowly, so slowly it seems, 
We’re in danger of losing patience with our dreams.

The Lord takes His time, He has patience so vast, 
He waits for us, through each moment cast. 
Even to the end, His love does not wane, 
He waited for the Good Thief, through joy and pain.

The Lord who walks with us, at our own pace, 
His patience abundant, His enduring grace. 
In every step, He matches our stride, 
With endless patience, He stays by our side.

So when life feels slow, and doubts arise, 
Remember His wisdom, His caring eyes. 
For God’s timing is perfect, His plans are divine, 
In His boundless patience, our spirits align.
