A CHORUS OF ANGELS SANG IN THE NIGHT
It is a tale that always stretches our mind,
Of God in flesh, with humankind entwined.
In a humble town, God chose to appear,
In a place overlooked, yet held so dear.
Who but God would choose such a way,
In a small village, so hidden away?
Born to a mother, humble and meek,
In a world where virtue seemed so weak.
The birth was announced, not to the grand,
But to shepherds in fields, such a lowly band.
A chorus of angels sang in the night,
Proclaiming the gift of the holy light.
This story calls for faith-filled eyes,
To see beyond what the world denies.
It beckons us to see anew,
The vision that only the faithful knew.
A challenge to dream beyond what is seen,
To envision a world where grace can convene.
In this humble birth, a hope is unfurled,
God’s love embracing the whole wide world.
