SHOULD YOU FIND IT HARD TO SLEEP TONIGHT  

Should you find it hard to sleep tonight,  
Think of those with no bed in sight.  
Remember the family without a place,  
Finding shelter in a homeless space.  

Should you find yourself stuck in traffic’s snare,  
Think of those who don’t drive anywhere.  
To many, cars are a privilege unknown,  
With dreams of journeys they’ve never flown.

Should you have a rough day at your work,  
Think of those who are waiting for a spark. 
For months they’ve searched without success,  
Yet their spirits refuse to regress.

Should you despair over a love’s lost song,  
Think of those who’ve never belonged.  
Who’ve never felt love’s warm embrace,  
Or shared in its tender, sweet grace.

In every struggle, a lesson to learn,  
A deeper compassion to discern.  
Count your blessings, however small, 
And find the strength to rise above it all.
