Mary looked back and saw a surprise,
A life unexpected, before her eyes.
The angel came with news divine,
That she’d bear a Savior, by God’s design.
Mary looked inward and joyfully cried,
“Great things for me, God has supplied.”
Through every challenge and joyful stride,
God’s surprises filled her with pride.
Mary looked forward, her faith so strong,
Raising Jesus, where she belonged.
Through life, death, and resurrection’s grace,
She nurtured God’s love, His gentle embrace.
Mary looked upward, with a faith so pure,
Connected with God, her path was secure.
Giving God her address, her soul to find,
In trust and love, her heart was aligned.
God said to Mary, “Work with Me,
As instruments of love, we’ll together be.”
Let us, like Mary, in faith and trust,
Work with God, as instruments of the just.

Today is the Feast of the Assumption of Mary into heaven. God said to Mary, “Work with me, as instruments of love, we’ll together be.” How do YOU respond when God says these same words to YOU?
WHEN YOU FIX YOUR THOUGHTS ON JESUS, JESUS FIXES YOUR THOUGHTS!
Please share my poem about Mary with a group at church as well as my Podcast.
