Made for Faith
I am not made to dwell in fear,
But fashioned for faith to draw me near.
Fear is foreign, a land unknown,
While faith feels always like coming home.
Worry and doubt are grinding sand,
That clog the gears and choke what’s planned.
But faith flows smooth like healing balm,
It steadies my soul and keeps me calm.
In fear and dread, I lose my way,
But faith brings light to start the day.
My breath grows short when fear is near,
But faith revives and clears the air.
Some doctors say that fear destroys,
It steals our strength and dims our joys.
But I believe the reason’s clear—
We’re built for faith, not shaped by fear.
To live by fear is to deny
The truth that faith was born to try.
God made us strong when trust is near—
Our deepest life is lived in cheer.
