WORK CAN HONOR GOD

We often think God’s glory appears 
Only in worship, prayers, and tears. 
But in our work, both great and small, 
God’s glory shines through it all. 

Whether you cook or lead a team, 
Build a future or chase a dream, 
Slinging hash or corporate goals, 
Each task can glorify our souls. 

Digging dirt or patient care, 
Every job becomes a prayer. 
Serving food or fixing hearts, 
God’s grace is present in all the parts. 

Pumping oil or pumping gas, 
Every task we do can pass 
As work that honors God above, 
When done with purpose and with love. 

So no matter what your hands may do, 
In every job, God’s glory’s true. 
With the right heart and attitude,
God is honored, with certitude.
