Few cries are louder than our world’s deep divide,
Hatred, anger, and ideologies collide.
Sincere hearts torn from one another,
Good from the good, brother from brother.
Truth stands divided, no common ground,
Good people, once close, now nowhere to be found.
Conversations cease, charity fades,
In the emotional schism, love degrades.
Hearts driven by ideology’s might,
Blind to compassion, losing sight.
We are called to mend this rift,
To be reconcilers, love’s true gift.
Jesus, today, would call us anew,
To hearts and minds ever-loyal and true.
To bear the pain, as he did on the cross,
Embrace the vulnerable, despite the loss.
Absorb the pain, let love remain,
In unity’s name, heal the strain.
For in the end, it’s love that mends,
And brings together foes as friends.

“For in the end, it’s love that mends, and brings together foes as friends.”
With all of our divisions today, how are YOU working to make this happen?
LOVE OTHER PEOPLE THE WAY JESUS LOVES YOU!!
We are a divided people. Please share my poem with others.
