Integrity is not a slogan we recite. It is a life we reveal. It means honesty, yes, but more deeply it means an uprightness of character so consistent that there is no need for explanation or performance.

The tragedy of our time is not simply that integrity is lacking, but that its absence has become expected. We brace ourselves for disappointment. We assume duplicity. Goodness itself is questioned because we have grown accustomed to its counterfeit.

The true measure of integrity is the distance between our lips and the life we actually live. When words travel farther than deeds, trust collapses.

Jesus spoke with piercing clarity about this fracture. Life, He taught, cannot be divided into compartments — one self for home, another for work, another for public display. To live that way is not complexity; it is hypocrisy. It is the disease of the Pharisees, who polished the outside while neglecting the heart.

Our age has refined this compartmentalization. God is often treated as a prop, pulled from storage when convenient and returned when uncomfortable.

Some of the loudest voices claiming divine approval live with little concern for truth, mercy, or humility. They insist God is on their side while excusing behavior that contradicts everything God stands for. This is not faith; it is manipulation.

Integrity calls us to something harder and holier. It asks us to be the same person when no one is watching as when everyone is. It demands that we hold our leaders — and ourselves — to standards of honesty, decency, and truthfulness, even when doing so costs us approval or comfort. And it warns us that integrity is rarely applauded by those who lack it.

In the end, nothing reveals us more clearly than how we treat others. Talent impresses. Wealth dazzles. Words persuade. But integrity endures. It is everything.

Do YOU value Integrity, honesty and truthfulness in a person above all else, or do YOU have a different standard for those who are in public life?

GOD LIVES IN AN HONEST HEART!!
