If you only carry one thing throughout your entire life,
let it be hope.
Let it be hope that you can get through
even the toughest of times.
Let it be hope that you are stronger
than any challenge that comes your way.
Let it be hope that you are exactly where
you are meant to be right now,
and that you are on the path
to where you are meant to be…
Because during these times,
hope will be the very thing
that carries you through.

How has HOPE carried YOU through the tough times of your life?
THE WORK GOD DOES WITHIN YOU WHILE YOU ARE WAITING IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS WHATEVER YOU’RE WAITING FOR!
My Commentary:
Hope is one of the quietest virtues, yet it is also one of the strongest. It does not remove hardship or erase uncertainty, but it gives us the courage to keep walking when the road grows dark. Hope whispers what fear tries to silence — that this moment is not the end of the story.
Life inevitably brings seasons of loss, confusion, and waiting. In those moments, we often search for certainty or quick solutions, yet what sustains us most is the belief that meaning still exists beyond what we can presently see. Hope allows us to endure today because it points us toward tomorrow. It reminds us that strength is often discovered not before difficulty, but within it.
To carry hope is to trust that our lives are guided, even when the direction is unclear. It is the quiet confidence that we are not abandoned, that each struggle can shape us, and that every step — even the painful ones — can lead us closer to growth and purpose.
For people of faith, hope is more than optimism. It is trust in God’s presence working through every circumstance. Scripture repeatedly assures us that light shines in darkness and that darkness cannot overcome it.
When everything else feels uncertain, hope becomes a steady companion. It lifts our eyes, steadies our hearts, and gently carries us forward — one faithful step at a time.
With all that is happening in our country, I felt I had to write my new book –
