Author Harold Kohn said in a little book titled “The Tinsel and the Hay”:

“How could Christianity ever become the dull affair some people imagine it to be when it carries such exciting news about God…..

“The Creator of the vast immensities we call the universe…..

“The Fashioner of stars beyond the stars we see and worlds beyond the worlds we know…..

“Coming to lowly Bethlehem to be expressed in baby flesh and to be held in a poor woman’s arms?…..

“This is the most astonishing story ever told about God, or man, or babies.”

Christianity is only dull if we forget what it dares to proclaim. It announces that the God who flung galaxies into place chose to enter history quietly, without spectacle or force.

The One who measures the universe with a word allowed Himself to be measured in inches, wrapped in cloth, and rocked to sleep. The Maker of endless worlds trusted His life to a young mother’s arms in an unimportant town no one expected to matter.

Bethlehem is not a retreat from wonder — it is wonder condensed. It tells us that greatness stoops, power serves, and love becomes touchable.

This is not a tired story. It is the most breathtaking truth imaginable: the infinite God becoming a child so that nothing human would ever again be small or unseen.

Spend some time reflecting on the infinite God becoming human, born in a manger at Bethlehem and doing all that for YOU!

IF YOU KEEP CHRIST IN YOUR HEART, CHRISTMAS WILL NEVER END!!
