For most of His ministry, Jesus spoke,
Using words to console, challenge, and evoke.
Through words, He brought God’s strength and care,
Stirring hearts, healing wounds laid bare.

His words held power, profound and true,
They moved mountains, and brought life anew.
Yet in time, even words fell short,
For a deeper love, He had to resort.

On the night before He faced the cross,
Knowing words alone might be lost,
Jesus went beyond what words convey,
He gave us the Eucharist in a profound way.

A physical embrace, a divine kiss,
A sacred meal, a moment of bliss.
Within this act, He holds us tight,
Drawing us close, in love’s pure light.

No longer just words, but His presence real,
His love, His grace, in bread and wine we feel.
The Eucharist, His heart’s embrace,
A touch of heaven, in earthly space.

For when words alone could do no more,
Jesus gave a gift to the core.
A meal of love, a holy sign,
Binding us forever, to the divine.
